The Midlands Alliance County Championship takes place this Sunday at Florence Tennis & Bowling Club, Stoke-on-Trent, from 9.30am.

Warwick & Worcester are trying to retain the “Alan Powell Shield” which they have won for the last two years.

For the group stages W&W are in with Staffordshire, Derbyshire & Potteries ‘A’. The other group consists of Shropshire, North Mids, South Yorkshire and Potteries ‘B’.

This competition gives our County selectors the opportunity to trial new and up-and-coming players who are looking for an opportunity to break into the Senior County.
