2026 Junior Boys Merit
Sunday 24th May
The juniors delivered an outstanding afternoon of competitive bowling at Hamstead, showcasing not only their talent but also their maturity, sportsmanship, and enthusiasm for the game. Spectators from Hamstead Social were full of praise, commenting on the exceptional standard on display and openly admitting they would not want to face our juniors in a match.
Competition Summary
The standard across all games was superb, with every junior giving their absolute best. Close ends, confident decision‑making, and impressive composure were evident throughout — particularly from those who had never bowled on the green before.

A huge thank you to Hamstead Club for providing excellent facilities, helping create a welcoming and enjoyable environment for players and families alike.
A special thank you also goes to Phil Ellett, whose support over the past couple of weeks has taken a great deal of pressure off. Thank you, everyone, Clare Wallace, Junior County Link Officer.
