Congratulations Anne O'Loughlan

Slightly belated, but on the 8th May, the BCGBA Ladies Average Winners Classic took place at Poynton Sports Club.


Congratulations to Anne O'Loughlan who was the event runner-up on the day.


the following is a statement from the BCGBA official facebook page:


"This was a fabulous day, which was well supported by players and spectators and the weather was certainly very kind to us.

Thank you to all the competitors, to get through to this competition is an achievement in itself.


There was some excellent bowling by all the competitors the losing semi-finalists were Claire Russell North Lancs & Fylde & Hayley Scott South Staffordshire. With Anne O’Loughlin Warwick & Worcester & Louise Ollerton Greater Manchester going on to play in the Final, the eventual winner being Louise Ollerton 21-16.


BCGBA Ladies Competitions Committee would like to thank Poynton Sports for their kind hospitality and hard work all day, in  providing excellent refreshments. We have to say this was a great venue.


Thanks to the referees for their continued hard work and support.


Our President  Sheila Whitely and Vice President Mavis Hancock, thank you Ladies you did an excellent job.


Thanks to our Competitions Committee, a lot of work goes into preparation and running these events so many thanks again."
